Gant Global Services holds a prime Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) in Zones 1, 2 and 3 under the U.S. Navy's SEAPORT Enhanced (Seaport-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). Seaport-e is the Navys electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management and Program Management. Seaport-e falls under the U.S Navy's Virtual SYSCOM, comprised of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Supply Command (NAVSUP), and Space and Naval Warfare Command (SPAWAR) including other U.S. Navy activities. The NAVSEA procures over a half billion dollars of Professional Support Services (PSS) each year for its headquarters' Directorates, Program Executive Offices (PEOs), and field activities. It provides an efficient and effective means of contracting for professional support services and enhancing small business participation.

Ms. Gant is a senior healthcare executive with more than 30 years progressive experience in nursing and healthcare administration comprising military and private sectors to include health IT, strategic planning, budget, reengineering, human resource management, quality improvement, policy analysis, change management and staff development. She successfully managed critical programs during the tumultuous period serving as a change agent during the transformation of the Army National Guard from a strategic to an operational reserve in support of deployments for the Global War on Terror (GWOT). These actions afforded active participation in the highest levels of policy making and long-term strategy discussions leading to tangible solutions and results. She pioneered the first Occupational Health Program for the Maryland Army National Guard, developing, implementing and managing eight major programs and, later, served at headquarter level leading 54 Occupational Health Nurses, managing a $180M budget and serving as subject matter expert to the Chief Surgeon; managed an Ombudsman and Training Directorate, supervised military and civilian employees, served as subject matter expert to the Under Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs and utilized a network of over 4,000 volunteers to gain and maintain support from all public and private employers in the nation. Highly experienced and successful with managing and empowering diversified teams to complete actions timely, creating customer satisfaction, workforce planning and process improvement.
Most notably, she was the lead representative for the U.S Army Medical Department in the development, deployment and training for the Centralized Credentialing Quality Assurance System from 2000-2003 that is still being used today. Ms. Gant is currently serving as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer responsible for day to day operations of a woman owned small, disadvantaged business with responsibility as the principal strategist and planner, research and development, and marketing.

Michael D.Thornton, Sr.s career is comprised of more than 33 years of experience as an information technologist, health services administrator and program management subject matter expert, specializing in medical informatics for the worldwide integrated healthcare delivery system referred to as the Military Health System (MHS). He is highly experienced and successful in a wide range of information technology activities, including applications development, systems and network integration, telephony and network communications architectures, from both the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and Department of Defense (DoD) 5000 series for acquisition management methodologies. Equally well-versed in innovation diffusion, marketing customer support, and personnel management, often key elements for successful information technology development and deployment initiatives. A proven leader and problem solver with superb analytical, organizational dynamics, strategic/tactical planning and program management skills.
From April of 2009 to the present (3 years past experience), as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for the daily management and operations of a growing consultancy practice. Duties include execution of business development, human capital and resources management, business operations compliance oversight and ad hoc management and operational support tasks to promote an effective, efficient and successful business. When serving in the principal consultant role, responsible for all consulting support for information technology and project management related contracted work, applying skills and experience as a certified senior health care informaticist, certified project manager and former information technology executive of the DoD, to meet the mission needs and objectives of our clients. Current consultancies include the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and affiliates of the Healthcare Information Management and System Society.
